Pixel pitch is the distance between the center of the LED pixels and how tightly they are packed together. The lower the pitch, the higher the resolution which creates a more vivid experience when viewers are typically closer to your LED sign, or for slower traffic. Pixels that are more spread out are less expensive and work well when viewers are further away or with faster traffic. Think of pixel pitch as the resolution on your digital camera. When selecting a pixel pitch you’ll want to consider whether the resolution will be high enough for your viewers to see and respond to your advertising. A higher resolution outdoor LED sign is capable of fitting many more words on the screen while remaining legible. You’ll also want to be mindful of whether you plan on showing images on your sign and the level of detail you want in those images. A monochrome led sign is a single/1 color LED lit sign. A full color LED sign has the entire spectrum of possible colors over 14 million combinations. When choosing between the two you’ll need to consider what you will be displaying, your sign’s surroundings, and whether monochrome LED sign will display your images/logos clearly.
